One of the things that hurts my heart about the first part of the Avengers is how Bruce deals with affection. Everyone talks about how kind Steve and Tony were to Bruce, but Thor also tried his utmost to be respectful, and Natasha was more than courteous. Basically everyone was genuinely nice to him, but he doesn’t see it that way. He still thinks everyone is only nice to him because they want to keep him happy (as opposed to angry and stressed, for obvious reasons), but not because they like him or wants him as their friend. This just hURTS MY HEART OKAY??

TONY AND BRUCE PROBABLY HAVE THE BEST TIMES HANGING OUT IN LABS DOING EXPERIMENTS AND INVENTING STUFF AND JUST CHILLING AND THIS MAKES ME VERY HAPPY

This line really speaks to me….Somewhere around the first time I watched the Avengers is when I really started thinking proactively, and acknowledging that things like depression and missing someone can feel worse than physical pain, and that’s okay. BASICALLY THIS YEAR HAS BEEN REALLY PIVOTAL FOR ME and this line really says a lot of what I’ve learned.
