I DON’T WANT AN INTERLUDE

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

YOU KNOW WHAT THE WORST PART IS??

AL’S PROBABLY GOING TO MEET THE FATHER—HIS DAD—ALONE. WITHOUT ED.

(/¯◡ ‿ ◡)/¯ ┻━┻

LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS IS

I’M PETRIFIED, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, ENTRANCED

Look at Ed’s face whEN HE TALKS ABOUT HER

“The next time I make you cry, it will be with tears of joy!”
HELP I CAN’T TAKE THE CUTE

IF HE DOESN’T LIKE HER THEN I’M A MONKEY’S UNCLE

What a powerful parallel. We as human beings have much more in common than we sometimes believe.

I think this is a really powerful scene. Everyone feels conflicted in their desires for bloodshed or peace, and each has so many motives that most of them don’t even seem to know why they really want what they are asking for.
To me, this scene is very much about human nature and the complexity of desires.
